After 7 years we have now sadly closed our outlet at Hortus Loci
It's been our absaloute privilege to operate from the shed for all these years, but its sadly time to move on and refocus our attention on new opportunities, our coffee shop at The Farnham Pottery and our ever developing events business.
We will, of course, miss all our regulars. Many of whom have grown to be true friends. Most importantly we'll miss the team that have filled the shed with laughter all these years.
We hope that the legacy of what we have built lives on. We're sure that Sue has big plans for the place [and she's not going to stop until she gets there] so keep a look out on their socials for when they re-open

After one too many years of running a busy catering company from a small country kitchen at home , we decided it was time to take the leap and open a dedicated kitchen of our own. With the help of the fabulous people at Hortus Loci we created our beautifully appointed shed in the grounds of the award winning plant centre, to marry together our great loves of good coffee, fantastic food and gloriously verdant surroundings.
Opened in summer 2016, we have over the years become a fabulous alternative venue for many a shin dig, including a wedding for 180 guests and countless birthday parties. Whilst we adjust to the current ‘new normal’ we have had to restrict our daily coffee shop menu to reflect the number of staff we can safely accommodate in our small kitchen, but we’re continuing to prepare fresh daily soups, our renowned toasted sandwiches, and ever-changing bowl food to ensure there’s something for everyone.

With The Plant Centre ever expanding, this summer welcomed Merchant & Found to the Veranda - providing their original 20th century and industrial vintage wares to dress our seating area. Like the chair you’re sat at? You can quite literally buy it and take it home with you!

Since opening we've been able to throw our own parties to which you could be invited! From summer banquets to afternoon teas, spooky Halloween stories around the campfire and Christmas wreath making sessions, we try and have an event once a month to give you a taste of the full Hobo.Co experience!
